RFL Recount-monarch show

On Tuesday my school and I watched a monarch show about butterflies.

 The show was about a girl named Lea and her grandma.

Lea needed ideas for her speech,her grandma was in a hurry so she didn't get time to give Lea some ideas.

Then there was a caterpillar that appeared out of nowhere. The caterpillar also gave Lea a little bit of Idea.Grandma needed Lea to help her guard the butterflies because someone was tryna take them.

As Lea was helping her grandma she  was taking notes Lea went somewhere and her grandma was all alone there was a construction worker  that came.

The construction worker was being mean to Lea grandma then she bumped into her and then she left she dropped her paper so grandma picked it up.

Then she looked at it and it was a picture about the new tunnel they were gonna take all the butterflies houses down.

Grandma said ‘’Lea can you go to the court for me I am very busy’’Lea went to court the court lady tried to dismiss the court because her grandma wasn't there so she spoke for her grandma and then she started with a story and then she started to talk about why we should stop them from building  the tunnel and instead they should build it underground so it could be fear.

Today my class and I read a story of maui and the giant fish Maui wanted to go fishing with his brothers but they would make up excuse 

They would say you are two little,maui got angry so he said his kariaka he got a fishing line and he got a draw bone from his ancestor Muri Ranga Whenua  and put it together he hid in the boat and waited till they came

Maui surprised them maui's brothers were shocked the asked what are you doing here.maui wanted to fish he asked his brothers can I have a bait to catch a fish they all just laugh and ignored him so he punched him in the noise so he could bled and put it on his hook to get they caught a big fish.

RLF-Lions Cage

 Today our class watched a silent olden day film about a lion's cage.The movie was about a man getting chased for hours, Then he went the wrong way and he trapped himself in the lion's cage lucky the lion was sleeping.The man kept trying to open the door he went to the other door but didn't realize that the cheater was looking at him hungry. The lion woke up and saw the man but the lion just look at him then the lion got up and sniff him then the lion went back to sleep then a lady came and opened the door for the man,the man went to the lion and looked at him angry then the lion got up and scared him away and the man ran out as fast as he can.
